The Summer of the Crows has received the 2011 Readers Favorite Award. It is also in the running
for a finalist for the 2012 Minnesota Book Awards!

Tony Ducklow drew on his own childhood experiences to write The Summer of the Crows. He says, “I had the unique pleasure of having a pet crow as a boy and I’ve always known how smart they were. I wanted to share some of my knowledge of crows with readers. Using Tucker and his friends seemed like a fun way to do it.”
